It started with Roses
It started with roses. As a little girl I helped my mother tend hers, and that early love never left me. As a rosarian, I take my roses seriously. If one does not "stink good" it finds a new home with a friend and I try a new variety in its place. One rose has never been replaced. My mother's favorite, first planted in 1983, still grows and blooms today. That relationship with roses grew into a relationship with all plants, leading me from hobby herbalism into professional aromatherapy and eventually into the work I do today.

Growing With Intention
At Healing Arts Academy Botanicals we grow with intention. Our plants are sung to, their beds hold crystals, and at harvest we honor the spirit of each plant, never taking more than what can be given freely. What grows here finds its way into our formulas.
Knowing the origin of what goes into our products makes the outcome feel more complete. We are not just trying to help people feel better. We are growing the very things that help make that possible.
It started with Roses
From the Ground to the Formula
When you use an HAA product, some of what you are feeling was grown right here. Our botanicals move from the garden into small-batch formulas with as little distance between harvest and production as possible.
No supply chain. No unknown sourcing. Just plants we know, tended by hands that understand their value, going into products made with the same intention they were grown with.
What We Grow
Every plant in our garden was chosen deliberately, selected for its therapeutic value, its beauty, and its place in the HAA product line.

Roses The heart of the garden and the beginning of this whole story. We grow several varieties for their fragrance and therapeutic properties, including one that has been blooming since 1983.

Lilacs Fragrant, fleeting, and deeply tied to the season. We harvest lilacs at peak bloom for their delicate floral properties.

Lavender A cornerstone of aromatherapy and one of the most versatile botanicals in our formulas. We grow lavender for its calming, skin-soothing, and pain-relieving properties.

Roman Chamomile Gentle and reliable. Roman Chamomile is a workhorse in our line, valued for its anti-inflammatory and calming properties in both skincare and wellness formulas.

Rosemary Hardy, fragrant, and deeply therapeutic. Rosemary brings circulatory and pain-relieving properties to our products.
