The Dew of Beltane: An Ancient Beauty Ritual for Modern Skin

Long before there were serums and toners and carefully formulated cleansers, there was dew.
For centuries across the British Isles and throughout Celtic tradition, Beltane morning was the time to rise before the sun was fully up and go out into the fields. You would wash your face and body in the dew that had gathered overnight on the grass and the leaves and the flowers. It was considered the most potent beauty treatment of the entire year. Young and old alike did it. The dew of Beltane was believed to clear the skin, restore a healthy glow, soften lines, and renew the spirit along with the face.
Dew collected at the height of spring, when plants are at their most alive and the earth's energy is at its fullest, carries something real. Morning dew is slightly acidic, close to the skin's own natural pH. It is full of the volatile plant compounds released overnight by the grass and herbs it rested on. People were not wrong to notice that it made their skin feel different.
You may not have a dewy field to walk through this Beltane morning. But you can bring the spirit of the ritual home.
The Modern Beltane Skin Ritual
Start with the Radiant Reset Gel Cleanser. This is your dew. It clears away what the night left behind, lifts away anything that does not belong, and leaves your skin feeling genuinely clean without stripping it. Think of it as the first breath of a new season on your face.
Follow with Aura Clear Rose + Green Tea Botanical Toner. Prickly pear, rose, and green tea bring hydration into the skin the way morning dew does, gently and without force. Witch hazel clears and refines. Agave stem cells pull water to exactly where your skin needs it most. Your skin settles. It balances. It gets quiet in the best possible way.
Then press a few drops of GlamourWeave Renewal Copper Serum (Jewel took HER bottle out with her at dawn to soak up all the yummy Beltane energy) into your skin while it is still slightly damp from the toner. Copper peptides work at the level of the skin's structure, supporting firmness and elasticity. Reishi and shiitake mushroom ferments, royal jelly, hyaluronic acid, and a blend of peptides that signal the skin to behave younger than it feels right now. The women who washed their faces in Beltane dew were after exactly this: skin that looks like it has been touched by something alive and growing. This is that, made into a bottle.
Finish with Solaris Daily Moisturizer to seal everything in and protect what you have just given your skin.
The whole ritual takes five minutes. The tradition behind it is thousands of years old. Your skin gets both.
Beltane only comes once a year. Your skin is with you every day. Treat it like both things are true.
